It's raining

Again. I love that.
We have a huge pine tree in the front yard. So even after the rain stops if I'm in the living room with the windows open I can hear the rain dropping on the pine needles. It's a very happy sound.

It was raining here last night... not quite the same but is was kind of a pleasant change. The mud it leaves as a legacy definitely isn't pleasant.

As for pine trees in the rain... sounds absolutely wonderful, wish I was there with you. Next year we'll go back up to Sequoia, and I'll keep you up there till rains so we can sit under one of the big trees in the rain
