New hobbies?

Fusion belly dancing with flaming swords. tasty. I blame my twin, she blames Scorch.(see userpic)So I have a fusion DVD on the way and one on sword work. (thanks to sihaya09 for the youtube link last week. The dvd I got is one of Belladonna's.) I have never belly danced before and am not really interested in traditional/ethnic or cabaret styles. But I am fascinated by the unending diversity of fusion and tribal fusion.

FIT TV on Tuesday nights . . . 8pm est. Not sure of the west coast time. The series is called SHIMMEY and it introduces basic steps in a friendly, easy to learn manner.

Wow someone caught that before I deleted. (Actually intended for a comm post)

I actually have plenty of at home stuff, which is really of the flavor I want. What I really need is a local outlet for dancing fun. This is as much a pursuit for socialisation as it is about dancing. Thanks for the suggestion. I however don't have cable so not really accessible.
