It's RAINING!!!!

As many of you know I love the rain. No really it is the single most wonderful thing that can happen to a sky. And since I now live in a dry, desolate place where it never rains, this is a positively joyous, possibly orgasmic event.
I was awakened a 5:30 this morning by the rush of water off my roof. (gutters but no downspouts = really loud.) At first I wasn't sure what it was, there had been no talk of rain on the news that I recalled and it was painfully dry earlier this week. So I got up grabbed some pants and went romping through the streets in the dark looking for puddles. I live at the top of a hill so we don't have many but much splashing was still had.

I love rain.

yay, rain! i'd ask you to send some over to us - NC is still stuck in a horrible drought - but it sounds like you need it just as much as we do.

Send some our way -- we just went on the record with the driest month in Raleigh history. And no sign of relief. Drought is bad. Hope for a rainy spring, or OTP could have even more water issues than ususal.
