So minor rant amout communication technology. I love my cell phone. I love my laptop. I am a certified LJ addict. However, just because I have 20 ways to keep in contact with someone does NOT mean that I must remain available at all times for communication. Hell I reserve the right to not call back for 24 hours.

Well, of course they are. They are also the first ones you HAVE to call back. Sorry, it's in the contract. They have rights that supercede most other things you are doing.

Besides, if you talk with your parents less than nine times a day, you're doing better than I was when my mother still knew how to use a phone. Cherish them while you have them, Hon.
