So do you dye before you cut? Or cut before you dye? This is the real, permanent stuff. Not Punky or Manic Panic. I need the wisdom of your experience dear readers.

I usually color before I cut, but that's just 'cause I don't want my hair dresser to see how bad I let my roots get sometimes. Otherwise, I've never heard that it makes a difference. 'Course, I've only been doing this for about 35 years, so what do I know????? ;-)

cut . . .then dye, cause you might end up with werid highlights otherwise.

I get my hair professionally dyed. When I do this, they always dye first, then cut.
