Fire: "Because everything looks better on Fire!" Strangely enough, as a very small child I was deathly afraid of it. Or more specifically dying in an actual house fire. Needless to say I grew out of that and have been fascinated by flame since junior high. Candles, matches, lighters etc. Spinning fire just adds to it. A lit tool makes the most amazing sound speeding through the air. I also love the smells of wood smoke and extinguished candles.
Architect: I love my work. Even the more tedious non-design production type work. Production architecture isn't sexy but it can be very rewarding. Like giant mind puzzles. I am always looking for greener more effective ways to solve old puzzles.
Angst: I have too much of it? Pathetic but true. I should try to psychoanalyze the whys and what not but I'm not quite there yet. Some of it is a innate (ok maybe acquired) pessimism and some is brain chemistry. Regardless it is a part of who I am.
Ireland: I am fascinated by it. History, travel and Guinness. All good things. I even toy with the idea of moving to Dublin about once a year. Impractical at best, but fun to think about.
Pets: I have had fishy pets, crawly pets and fuzzy pets. At heart I am a cat person. Any animal that appreciates the immense value of purring, snuggling and naps on sunny window sills can not be denied.
