All the school bonds past! Namely Prop R, that will contribute $60 million to Santee School District to renovate all 9 of their school campuses, passed. As well as a $600 million statewide bond. Why do I care? It means that all the work I did over the summer will not be thrown into the trash and that we will be extremely busy for the next 24 months. The Santee project will gear up next week and we are already in talks with San Diego city to do a bunch of state work for them. (The state bond is a general fund that all schools can apply to) It was odd to watch election results with a real personal stake in a propasition.(Although since I live in O'side I was not actually voting for prop R)
