Goings on.

darkfyre_museYesterday was long. I worked late getting something done that I really didn't think would take all day+ some. Obviously I was wrong. I missed happy hour but I accomplished something, learned something new and earned the respect of my bosses. Not bad for an otherwise unpleasant week. Unfortunately getting home after 7:30 kinda drained the desire to get dressed and drive over an hr in LA traffic to see a band I never heard of. (Although quite good I'm sure.) So silly movies and mexican food ensued, followed by much much needed sleep.
And today was nice. Waking up to a nice cool, damp mist. Followed by tasty breakfast and good coffee with real milk. (btw first cup with caffeine this week.) Some cleaning and an afternoon jaunt to Balboa Park. I like having my sister around. Good news is she got the job and will be living here for the time between when her job starts and when she finds a convenient reasonable place to live. good good.
Well maybe more later. Time to wander off to bed.
