1) After Bauhaus, what are your three favourite goth bands and why?
why? the boy asks why? so demanding.
1) Sisters of Mercy - I find their music to be physically powerful.
And I like how it seems to roll through my body.
2) Blind Guardian - I fell in love with 'Nightfall in Middle Earth"
and have been hooked since.
3) NightWish - Dark and melodic
4) Lacuna Coil - similar to NightWish, kind of ethereal.
5) The Cure - good lyrics and I can dance to most of it
2) Where do you see yourself in the next ten years?
With 2 kids. Living in a house that is either 100+ yo or that we
built ourselves. And designing something, but I'm not sure what.
Ideally I think I want to be doing sustainable public projects.
(solar power, recycled material, green building practices.)
3) Do you ever feel that a good part of Irish literature and history is about complaining about the oppression of the British?
Yes. Although I really don't think I can blame them.
4) Your favourite non-animation film?
Mirror Mask
5) The world is about to end in 3 hours. No point begging for forgiveness, as everything and everyone that is going to forgive you already has. Radiation has wiped out the world's supply of alcohol and illegal stimulants and removed any feeling from your sexual organs, making sex pointless and uncomfortable. What are you going to do now?
Take the animals and my husband up into the woods. (I would prefer
the forests in N.California or Virginia but the ones here will do.)
Let the animals climb trees and hunt bunnies while we play in the
trees and just be.
