I have been trying to do a post a day since May 19. Recently I've been running short on interesting topics. So I am stealing this from LJ 'writer's block". So here goes.

""
"If someone intentionally set fire to your home and you had ten minutes to get out, would you try to save the arsonist or your belongings?"

If we are just talking stuff here the answer is simple, I would save the asshole. I just can't think of anything I own that I would choose over a human life. If we are talking about my husband, friend or other family member again the answer is simple, I would save the person I have a vested interested in. They earned it, I'm sure. The only scenario that I would think twice about in this situation. Pets. Seriously, when my cat died is was ugly for quite awhile. SO if I had to choose between one of our animals and some jerk that is essentially threatening all our lives I'm not certain what I would do. Because the fact is I don't know that person's story. Is there a good enough reason for arson? I really don't know, but I don't know if even a not good reason is worth a death sentence. Of course my kitty didn't deserve it either.

This just might reflect portions of my mood today, but I'd save my belongings. Let the arsonest get a head start on burning in hell. O.K. That was beyond ugly, and I'm not necessarilly proud that it was the first thing to cross my mind. Maybe I better go try to readjust my thinking arrangements for the day.
