Yea my level of hate for aol is pretty high. Mainly they frustrate me with stupid. If I ever get all my trillian set up on this machine I will show up, I just need to convince them to reset my password. (see again with the stupid.)

Anyway gchat is different, it doesn't use a installed client it runs totally in your web browser. So all you need is a gmail account. I sent you an invite. When you have it set up input all your contacts who also have gmail into your contacts. A list will appear on a sidebar to the right. You can then invite them to chat.
